OUR APPROACH
Choose plants suited to your available light and container space. Check how much growing medium your pots need before preparing a batch. Use containers with suitable drainage and protect indoor surfaces from water.
Place a roomy hydration container close to your pots before adding water. Follow the pack instructions and allow space for expansion. Each 650g compost brick yields approximately 9–10L; each plain coir brick approximately 10L.
Hydrate only the number of units needed for the planned task. Store the remaining dry bricks in a sheltered, dry place as directed on the pack. Keep tools and materials within comfortable reach, and avoid moving a heavy container of wet compost.
All Purpose Compost Bricks contain fertiliser for suitable general planting. Plain coir needs an appropriate mix and nutrient plan. For plants suited to a coarser structure, consider coir chips as a component—not as a universal replacement for compost.
CHOOSE FOR YOUR APPLICATION
Start with a 6 × 650g pack of fertilised compost or plain coir. Prepare individual bricks and store the rest dry. Each full dry multipack weighs 3.9kg; hydrated material is heavier. Coir chips are an optional addition for plants that need a coarser mix.
With added plant nutrients
6 × 650g · approximately 54–60L total
Six separate compost bricks for suitable patio pots and everyday container planting. Prepare one approximately 9–10L batch at a time and keep the unused bricks compact and dry.
Contains controlled-release NPK fertiliser and trace minerals. Follow pack directions and check suitability for the chosen plants.

Plain coir for your growing mix
6 × 650g · approximately 60L total
A compact supply of plain coir for preparing your own plant-appropriate growing mix. Each brick expands to approximately 10L, so smaller projects do not require hydrating the whole pack.
No added fertiliser. Plain coir needs an appropriate nutrient plan; do not treat it as a pre-fertilised compost.

Optional coarse blending component
1 × 650g · approximately 9L
A coarse coconut-husk component for suitable orchid and foliage-plant mixes. Use where a more open structure is appropriate, adjusting the blend to the plant, pot and watering routine.
Chips are a growing-media component, not a complete fertilised compost. Follow preparation instructions and the plant’s feeding requirements.
